NZAMD provide a teaching and examination syllabus that is proven in it’s success for training New Zealand students and encouraging a love and passion for dance. We set out to create a logo, branding and website package that would showcase and reflect the beauty of dance whilst also conveying that this is a professional, trusted organsiation.

We created a dynamic Logo that incorporates a lot of movement that is reflective of it’s subject. The expressive, abstract lines form a dancer and the contrasting colours are emblematic of the many varieties of dance. The branding encapsulates the colours used in the logo, utilising gradients in combination with a formal/professional font. This contrast is necessary to create the right tone for the branding. Without a formal font the logo and branding would appear too playful. The combination of colour and font choice create a balance between expressive and professional.

The website was designed to host a huge volume of information, our creative decisions revolved around the website being easy to navigate and allowing users to find the correct documentation. The end result is modern and professional, with the information we were provided laid out concisely and accented with hints of colour and gradients that call back to the branding we created. Simple, understated and elegant, just like dance.
